He sold them and picked up 2 type x 12's. he had them running on a hifonics amp. the shop he went to ****ed him over on the box and messed up the amp.

Would 4 cubes tuned to 32 be fine for the 2 12s?

Sound quality sub, so I'd tune lower. They recommend 28 hz, and I was going to say that before I even checked.

mine is at 30hz. when i do 2 it'll also be at 30hz.

if he wants to be loud id do the type rs for sure..if he wants over all quality and sound the type x is prolly the better built sub..but just for output id go r...guess hes gonna find out, with the right box and install id say it could go either way

My SQ buddies tell me that the R sounds better in a sealed box than the X does. Everybody already knows the R will $hit on the X in SPL.
