2 Orions VS 1 Atomic 5000.1

This test wasnt to technical, just did a test using 2 Orion 2500D's wired to .75ohm nominal a piece and the AT5000.1 wired to 1.6ohm nominal, subs used 2-10" AudioQue HD3's in my neon, this was taken on the new TL.

2-Orion 2500D's wired at .75ohm nominal @ 13.7volts burped for 3 sec=147.53db sorry no pic

1-Atomic 5000.1 wired at 1.6ohm nominal @ 13.5 volts burped for 3 sec=145.50db



here was the resistance of the dmm



heres the ohms of the subs to the atomic



so the final ohms of the sub came out to be 1.6ohm nominal.

just a simple comparo against the 2 brands. I did when i had them, i was the loudest using 1 orion wired to .375ohm than using both at .75ohm each, the difference was 8 tenths of a db. The atomic smoked the orion wired at .375ohms by more than 3 db's but thats pretty much expected because of the ratings on both amps. i got a 200amp Iraggi alt

stock batt up front and a kinetik in the back my other amp should be in tonight than i can have good comparos
