2 or 4 Ohm?

What would be better? Ive read reviews on the sub i got and one said "I recommend this sub, but be sure to get the rub Ohm version" and it was talking about the 4Ohm. And then ive read on the 2Ohm, that it is a good sub as well.

But what could be the difference?

This is probably a stupid question to alot of you, but i still got a lot to learn about this stuff..

okay if you had 2 subs dual 4ohm they can be wired down to a 1ohm load, that would be optimal. but if your running a single sub setup a 2ohm would be fine wired down to 1ohm, if you had a single 4ohm it could only be wired to 2ohm or 8ohms. , i'm not an expert tho...look at the wiring diagram--->http://www.caraudio.com/forum/showthread.php?t=31984

neither is "better". they just create different loads to get different power ratings from the amp. it's all about resistance.
