2 ohms or 1 ohm????

Hello everyone.

I have a crunch 3000DPRO amp and Im buying a new sub.

I was told that having this amp at 2ohm or 1ohm will not differ in Wattage output.

Is that tru??

Meaning, the amp will put out full power at 2ohms and dropping to a 1 ohm load will not make a difference.

I am running a stock alternator and wtith 2 guage wire and a Odessy battery.

Please advise!

Shoud I get 1 dual 4 or 1 dual 2?

The specs I see on the amp are

3000w x 1 @ 1ohm

1500w x 1 @ 2ohm

You might need a HO alt if you run that at 1ohm to 3kW
