2 OHM to 2 OHM

After spending some time searching the internet and here,I still have not came up with a solid answer on how or if you can wire 1 dual voice coil 2 ohm sub,to stay at 2 ohm.Any helped will be greatly appreciated.

you can't. If its a dvc 2 ohm sub you can only wire to 1 ohm or 4 ohms.

the only way to acomplish that would be to wire eacg VC to separate channels or separate amps completely.

yes start the flaming....

wire it in parallel...(+ to + and - to -) and it would be 1 ohm nominal....but in reality (check with a DMM) it will be close to 2 ohms....and counting box rise (after you mount the sub in box) its possible to be around 2.

if you have 2 subs with 2ohm dvc you can wire them at 2 ohm
