2 ohm connection?????

I have a JL 250/1 and I m currently running a 10W1 4ohm. I am about to hook up my 10W3 2ohm. The guy at the local sound shop said hook it up just as I have it now. Is this correct?? I do not fuly understand the ohm thing. The only thing I think I know is 2 ohm is more efficient than 4,6 ohm........correct.

you do know that the 250/1 puts out the same watts on all ohms from (1.4ohm - 4ohm)

the W1 and W3 are both SVC so you dont have any other option than to hook it up at whatever impendence it comes as...
