ID CX62 are wonderful. I found a used pair for $60shipped and absolutely LOVE them!

The CAdence 2 ohm components have received pretty good reviews. They are definitely a steal for 80 bucks though.

As much as I hate the Hifonics, it'd at least give you a start for a 2-way active setup.

Well, the Hifonics is on ebay as we speak, so it may be a little late for that. They say that the factory infinity amp that i have actually isn't terrible for a factory amp... so i think I'm going to give it a shot for a little while.

I'm trying to keep this whole install fairly low-profile, I'm even hesitant to use an after-market head unit, just cause its gonnna mess up stuff, and orphan the steering wheel controls and cd changer.

Junk the rear deck speakers. I don't even know why manufacturers install them except maybe because '8 speaker premium sound system' sounds better than '6 speaker premium sound system.' in an advertisement.

I probably will end up doing that... Or i was thinking about installing small subs in the deck, but that would be down the road a little.
