2 Ohm 6.5" Component Sets?

Well, Ive been out of car audio for quite a while, which i must say has been good to my wallet, but i got a new car about 6 months ago, and i simply cannot deal with the stock system anymore.

Its a 2002 Chrysler Concorde, with the "Premium" sound setup which consists of 2 sets of 6.75" component speakers Front door, Rear door, 6x9's on the rear deck, and Factory "infinity" amp, and a regular old head unit with a 4 disc changer below it.

The way my life's started shaping up lately i REALLY shouldn't be spending much money on upgrading this setup, but i think i've figured out a way to do it fairly on the cheap.

I have almost all the stuff in my Sig that i can recycle from my old car, So heres the plan:

Keep the Alpine CDA-7995 and hook it up to the factory amp

Sell off the 4 channel Hifonics amp, as well as all of the speakers I have laying around (Some pheonix gold components, the MB quarts, and some audiobahn 4x6's)

Hopefully this will yeild enough money to pick up a set of really nice components for the fronts, and some half decent ones for the rear doors, and some 6x9's for the back. And i'll run all of these off of the factory "infinity" amp, connected to the cda-7995 And hopefully this will get me a half decent sounding setup without trashing my car to install aftermarket subs, and amps and such.

So i need recomendations for 2 ohm speakers so far i have only found some INFINITY REFERENCE 6020CS 6.5 components

JBL GTO607C 6.5 components

JBL GTO927 6x9's

I'm not to impressed with the idea of any of these speakers to be honest, i know the infinitys are really weak on bass, wich is a no-no, scince i'm not going to be having a sub for a **** long while.

Any i just havent heard the JBL's at all.

Sorry for the long post...

Oooh just found the Image Dynamics CXS62, but they are hard to find i think, and most likely a bit high in price for me.

But they would be dang nice...

RE XXX 6.5" Components have 2Ω Mids, 4Ω Tweeters. I like my set, but after dealing with RE's customer service recently I'm weary about recommending them...

Sorry if I missed it, but do you have an idea of price range..?

I was gonna mention the infinity til i saw u already did, but i would highly recomend those. I have the kapppa 6x9 which are loud and crisp, my buddy got the component set on 120wrms per side and they shat on my 6x9s. they sound awesome, im about to get me 2 sets. Just my

.02

Looks like also the RE XXX sets are also 2 ohm, but also way out of my price range.

Also the Kenwood KFCX1720P, but as with JBL's i'd have to give these a listen before i even started to consider them.

kenwood excelon has a good set. its the KFC-X1720P those are designed at a 2 ohm load, handle crazy power and sound really crisp
Sorry, we posted at the same time i guess.

No offense, but you only have one post, and your post smells a bit spammy.

So i'm not going to go pouncing on that deal, but i will give them a listen when i get a chance...

You can get the XXX on ebay for $270 shipped.
One thing though, those woofers are deeeeep, around 3 1/2", so you would have to be sure how deep your doors are.

Oh that would be SO sweet to have those, but running em off of a factory amp wouldt even start to do them justice...

Ebay also has the Infinity Kappas for 130... but They still have similar bass issues if i remember right.
