2 Nice 18s or 4 Lower End 18s??

Im starting my street beater project van. I have a Astro van I could possibly purchase for 350 and a Cadence ZRS-9 (2000watts @1ohm) to play with. Obviously im looking to be loud.

I am aiming to be loud on the street, but at the same time hold a decent tl score. I will obviously be going ported but I may play around with a sealed box just for the hell of it. Anyhow for what I am aiming to do would it be better to go with to nice 18s such as RE SXs or 4 lower end 18s like kicker comp VRs

Also note I will probably be tuning at a lower frequency because this van will be for street beating and not comps so around 28-34hz

Personally, I would take the two SX's. Wall them off in the back of the van and beat away.

4 18's will be hardcore! haha the wow factor will be cool, and wont 4 18's like over power 2 18's? sorry my 12volt vocab is on hold rite now.

Thats install dependant, but I would rather have two SX's, than four CompVR's... Whats the RMS on the VR's? With four, you would only give them 500w each. The SX's would sound much better with 1000w each IMO.

Well my bad, the comp vr 18s are 1000watts I thought they were 500watts....Well name your low end 18 sub thats about 500watts rms minus funky pups of course

Maybe along the lines of 2 18 SXs or 4 15 SEs

Its hard to decide since I have never owned a 18 but at the same time 4 15s would be appealing to see walled

dude be practical though. this is alot of money to just "throw" around..spend it on something wisely, not what looks good
