I guess I won those 2 world championships on accident..
lets see.. SPLW 12" model..
big, ugly, and and a brick..
suffered from a rather bad case of flux modulation (go look that one up)
tested in 1.5, 2.5, 4, and 5 cuft ported, tuning from 35-55hz
power on tap was at first 1kw, then cause the numbers were so bad, 2.5 kw, and the numbers were still bad...
testing was done in a geo metro if I recall correctly... Linear X was used for measurements..
long story short... every other woofer owned it.. except the mofo //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
even a piddly comp vr 12 we had lying around, whooped on it, and it was an older one too, back when creedence was still makin them....
then we got evil and laid 6kw on it, and the rest of it is boat anchor history..

I would choose the MT mainly because of the Driver it uses. But then again the 2 MOFO's have twice the cone area. So yeah, iono. I'd still pick the single MT though but only if you going for SPL purposes.
Make sure the comps you enter are classed by number of speakers, or cone area... and you'll own. This will definitely be all out SPL. I think the MT will put up some impressive numbers with the (2) A3000's I will be putting on it.
yeah, its just that easy //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gifMake sure the comps you enter are classed by number of speakers, or cone area... and you'll own.
Im afraid that's all the detail I felt necessary to fit into a one sentence reply. I am quite sure you can get an MT in a dual VC configuration as well, at least that's what RE has on their site.with the MT being QVC, it prolly will be impressive //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
Oh and you'll need a hella good alternator.
