2 kicker 2500.1's vs hk 4000d

OK, Im pretty sure im getting two audioque hd312's for my car.. im unsure of what to use for power... i was originally considering a kicker 2500.1 and a kinetik hc2400 for now, then in the future get a second one of each. however i see in the classifieds a hk4000d for $400, i am very enticed by this deal, are the hk amps worth it? or should i save for the long run with dual 2500.1 's? is it really worth it?

i would get the kicker imo it is better than MA and the hk's are rated at 14.4volts for true power.

The Kickers would run circles around the MA. The MA will do rated power at 17v IIRC.

is it even worth it to get the second kicker? isnt 5kw for a dd a bit overkill? do you think itl be stupid loud with two audioque hd312's off a single kx2500.1 @ 1ohm? im looking to get alot louder than the 15" mag i had running ported off of a 1200d before..

Even w/ a single kicker 2500.1 it should get alot louder than the Mag...w/ 2 of em it would b insane.

stick wiht the kicker. i would have done 2 if i didnt have a single sub and hate matching gains....if they were bridgable they'd be the perfect amp.....kicker ftw FO SURE.

Yeah the MA does rated at 17v. and there's never anything wrong with 5000w go for the kicker. you wont be disapointed.
