2 HU's in a double din?

I have a chevy trailblazer and was wanting to insall my pioneer headunit but also add a motorized din sized screen for a carputer setup in the dash opening. Has anyone been able to fit two din sized units in the dash of a newer chevy? I went and measured but it seems like the opening wont fit without modification.

Yea it should fit if. Hence the name double din. try just sticken it in temporary to see if it fits. And if worse comes to worse get a dremel and do some cutting.

if i remember right the dash piece that surrounds the hu is a square hole with curved corners, you might have to do some cutting on those corners.

I was planning to try to see what it would require to build a frame later tonight. After I looked at the opening I can tell that it wont be easy, but nothing worthwhile is.

Chevy cant do anything that follows any standards, they always come up with some way to make it hard to modify.

I Think I may be in luck, I found a store called best kits and harnesses and they sell a dual HU kit for my car.
