Crap thats a huge box. And alot of port.
My vehicles resin i believe is 53hz

My box is tuned at about 41.5hz and is peaking 42 on a sweep

You need to be peaking in the 50's then, more port area and higher tuning if numbers are what you're after...

Yea... I know port area is a issue. I only have a total of 56 square inches of port. So i know that will be a pretty big gain. Also bringing up the tunning for comps. But i guess for daily im going to find a plug and plug one of the ports.

lol i dont have a problem with band with. my box right now is tuned to 38hz. it plays all the way up to probly 56-60hz and play down a bit. i just never really listen to any thing lower then 35hz. i joke around with i love you girl which is 31hz from time to time but that about it below 35. my 2 big issues with the current box are i dont have enough port area, and the box is to deep meaning its to close to my hatch and the low port area and lack of room to load off my hatch is probly choking the subs.

yea i know its better then what i have now lol... if my box wasnt so deep i would just change the ports. but its to bulky. i know i will see a gain just from port area. and we rearranged some stuff and moved my batts out of the cargo area so to make so space, then moved my box off the hatch like 3.5 inches & hell just doing that gained my .7db.

Do you think you could fit a single 12" sonotube and glass it? That'd be sick. It's about 113 in^2 port area where the 2 8's have about 101. Just a thought.

yea i still have them. i have to keep them. my little girls getting close to being here. the wife would kill me if i got rid of the back seats lol
