NET is after all displacements.
With aeroports you can "generally" get by with about 1/2 of the port area you would with a slot port. If going for numbers you don't want to choke the subs though.

Where is vehicle peaking/where is box tuned?

Crap thats a huge box. And alot of port.

My vehicles resin i believe is 53hz

My box is tuned at about 41.5hz and is peaking 42 on a sweep

aq.s need a ton of.port to begin with vs. other subs but when ur chasing numbers ur gona have to let it breathe even more

i know but 20 per cube? I mean thats 160 sqin.

I have almost 80 for 4.25 cubes....like.he said u can cut.tjat in half with aeros..so 80 or so

Ok so im using aeros not slot. So i can use less then 20 sq inches?

9 cubes net. 33 hz tuning sounds good on xfl's imo. They will play low. No offense, you've got more of a fart box setup. You will feel a tuning of 33 hz more in your body with those lows. That transfer of energy, I love that shit.

my current box specs are 8.8 cubes net @ 38.3Hz, with only 56.6 square inches of port(yea i know i need more port area). i remeasured yesterday and figured out that what i put on here in my sig was a bit wrong. i keep my tuning around 40 - 43 because i usually dont listen to nothing below 35hz, thats just my taste i guess lol. i actually tested the other night but the current box is poorly designed, i was only able to get 147.8 from it on music, which it made me mad at first but then i took into account the box is not really a good design and also i have WAY to little of port for the box size. i tried burping but my music score is louder then my burp, idk why that is but it is. yea sometimes i do miss having more low end but like i said i dont listen to alot of low freq stuff

what is? 147.8? lol to me its not, but again theres alot of factors that are killing my out put at this point that have to be changed

I like to play full volume at no higher than 25 hz. My last box would play the teens. With authority.
