2 Dual 4 L7 12's...Amp

I need an amp that does roughly 1400-1600 watts at 1 ohm obviously, but the main thing is i want it to be able to take heat. I know of a lot of good brands and all, but which ones that put out that power, can handle 1 ohm and heat? I had a hifonics bx1000d and 1205d...they both SUCKED whenever it was hot outside, or even just humid, and the 1205d just crapped out on me after like 2 months. I got roughly 15-20 minutes of playing them before they went into protection from heat. My gains were set correctly (not even half way either), and no bass boost was used, and I also didnt use the bass knobs. So any reccomendations for something new? I don't mind a factory refurb, and the price doesn't matter all too much, but id rather keep it under $500, thanks.

where are you mounting these amps? some good amps would be PG tantrum or xenon 1200.1, orion 1200D, Directed 1500D, cadence z9000, rockford T10001, ED 9.1, kicker kx1200.1.

pushing my same L7's with a kx 1200.1 (kicker). Its rated at 1460 watts from the birth sheet. I love the set up, and it hits HAAAAAAAARD. I just hope to take advantage of these subs you have a ported box.
