2 differnt amps hooked to 2 subs

hmmmm so its not worth trying? His is a prety basic install, the amp is bolted to the back of the box and its up against the backseat so u cant see anything except the box itself.
Aren't those CVR's only 300WRMS, I'm not familiar with those amps but I would recommend putting the stronger of the 2 amps into the subs and take it from their. I'm almost sure that if the box you have has separate compartments for each sub, 2 amps can be used, I'd use y connectors to split the Sub RCA's and take one to each amp, this way you don't have to worry about the master/slave issue(thats only if you want to go that way)

 
I may be wrong, but isnt electrical tape made for higher temps, reason being why it is used for electrical and to keep the wires from burning or catching sparks?
edit: wording sounds bad, but hopefully the point is put across to what I was trying to get at
Yes it is obvious they make electrical tape for electrical use. On the other hand its not always the best way to go.
