2 different brands of amplifiers

For years I have used the same brand of amplifiers in my system particularly my truck. However, due to the fact that I got a ESX Q 604 yesterday on EBAY for a good deal, that theory of the same brands for mids and highs is going out of the window. A mint condition ZED audio amplifier is a great choice. Problem is I will not find a matching amp as I am running with 3 10's in my system. Is it OK to use a different brand of amplifier for mids and highs than bass? Is this the norm.

didn't really follow most of that but if your asking if you can use 2 different brands of amps (one for the subs and one for your speakers) then the answer is yes...

No, everything will catch fire spontaneously, while your driving on the highway, causing you 2nd degree burns before you can stop and exit the vehicle.....

Yes of-course you can use one amp for sub, another for mids/highs, just as long as you don't try to power subs with different amps..... That' when shit hits the fan...

As everybody else said, you'll be fine.

I run a sundown to my sub and a kicker ZX to my mids/highs, they have some fights now and then but all is well.
