2 different amps

ok so i had a rockford fosgate 400.4 amp and a audiobaun 10" sub in my single cab silverado. i got rid of the sub and i am replacing it with 2 punch p3 12's.i also bought a crunch 1400 watt 4 channel amp. i want to use my fosgate amp to run my speakers and use the new crunch amp to run the subs. im trying to find out if this would work.

wire it up like how you would any two amps. For the 4channel using for the subs, only run one set of RCAs to the inputs on the amp. Then bridge the channels.

ok so i should have about 700 watts per sub am i correct? (that is if i bridge it) and how do i know which rca cables to plug into my 1400 watt amp

also, there is a thing under my hood i think it is for a fuse would i need to run a seperate one for my 1400 watt amp? im guessing i would but not sure
