2 channels bridged VS mono amp

I'm hooking up a sub rated at 100 RMS. From a 4 channel amp, I can bridge 2 channels for 160 RMS or hook up a mono amp for 180 RMS.

Is there any advantage to hooking up the mono amp (which has a subsonic filter)?

If there is a noticeable improvement in SQ I will go through the expense and time of hooking up the mono amp, otherwise, it's much cheaper and simpler to bridge the 4 channel.
