Alright i am a idiot when it comes to wiring subs. If i have two Subs that are dual 2's, and i wire each sub to a different channel down to 1 ohm, will i get the 1600 watts rmsx2 or will it show the amp a 2 ohm load. I try to read myself and figure it out but i just leave myself confused.

If its a 2 channel amp, and you have 1 ohm total on each channel, its simply a 1 ohm per channel load. So you would see the power of the 1 ohm per channel or if it says 1600RMS x 2 @ 1 ohms then that is what you should be getting with your dual 2 ohm subs wired down to 1 ohm, 1 sub on each channel of the amp.

Power output would be the same as the amps rating for bridged operation at a 2 ohm load. 1 ohm per channel is the same thing as 2 ohms in bridged mode.

So if it says 3200 watts rms x 1 at 2 ohms bridged divide that in half, for 2 channel operation at 1 ohm per channel.

3200 watts X 1 @ 2 ohms bridged = 1600 watts x 2 @ 1 ohms per channel stereo mode
