2 channel vs 4 channel

what is trhe difference between a 2 channel amp install kit and a 4 channel (i know the obvious one) but are the wires inside any different?

because i looked on line and it loooked like they all came witht eh same stuff

There is no diffrence in the wires at all. The only diffrence is the rca cables. The kit I had came with a pair of "Y" interconects so that I wouldn't have to run two sets of rca cables to the back.

so in other words there are just more RCA's, so the two go in the back of the deck, and then four come out where you plug in the amp?

dam i only got 2 rca female from the deck, is there anything i can buy that could expand that?

Get some "Y" interconnects get the ones with one female plugin and two mail outlets plug the inerconnects in the amp and just run one pair back from the deck.

y cables if you wont need to fade... otherwise an eq will allow you to input 2ch and output 6ch, usually... with the ability to fade and eq.

I found mine at electronic express but you can get them at radioshack, wal-mart, or almost anywhere that sells electronics.
