2 channel sub amp needed

Looking for a 2 channel amp to drive my sub.

Must be

Power requirements >600-800 watts rms x 1 brigged to 4 ohm.

Here's kinda what I have been looking at that will fit the bill...

US Amps IS-2150 or IS-2200

Eclipse da6213

PG Ti600.2

Diamond D5 600.2

JBL BPX500.1

why must it be 2 channel? how come it cant be a mono block?

I can be i guess if i want to run it down to 1 ohm. BUT i dont have the electrical system for that kind of power draw, I don't have the room for a huge mono amp, I don't want to up grade my wiring yet, and I want to stay pretty strict to sq - thus the a/b vs d.
