you could bridge the amp, but I doubt it would put out 1600w it looks like a peak spec on the website, as the 800x2 spec is a peak spec at 2ohms you will rarely see. You have to go by the rms spec man. If you do bridge it, it looks like anything less thana 4ohm load would kill it, like most amps of it's type/calibre. To bridge it you hook up the positive lead to one channel and the neg. speaker lead to the other. Hope that helps.
