2 chan amp 4 speakers..

Is there a problem with what this guy is asking?Do you have anything to contribute thats positive?

If not, as I said, GO TROLL ELSEWHERE or go to bed like all the rest of the kids like yourself.

I'm done with you
Don't be like that, little guy.

Please help this man with his question. I can't wait to hear you explain it...

Why don't you intrigue me with your own wisdom?

You answer him.

Show us professionals what you "know"

We're watching. Trust me...

The majority of 2 channel amplifiers are 2 ohm stable, but the amp in question is stable down to 1.5 ohms. If the OP wants to run 4x 4 ohm svc speakers on this 2 channel amplifier, he'd simply have to wire each pair in parallel to 2 ohms. This is basic knowledge, my good sir.

Now, on to why you would ask if the amp is stable past 1.5 ohms; Why would you ask that question? Why would this particular amplifier need to be 1 ohm stable?

Well, this is mainly cuz I'm not familiar with JL

In order to make a true reply to help this person, I must first know what I'm dealing with.

And I automatically assume that everyone is a dumbass until I make sure they are not. It helps me to only have to answer once.

And as to your last question, if it was indeed 1 ohm stable and bridgeable at such a resistance, then he could parallel all 4 subs to 1 ohm and bridge the amp to achieve optimum power.

He clearly explained that he had 4x 4 ohm speakers and wanted to know if/how he could run all 4 on a 2 channel amplifier.

So, once again

Thanks misfit. You da man. You may continue. And other guy your alright too. Don't let misfit tear your as$ too big
You have to know who knows there stuff in this place.

Sometimes you have to be the dick in order to learn who other people are.

True, but did not say what the amp was capable of.

There are plenty on 2 channels that are 1 ohm bridgeable.

I would think that you would know that there are several combos he could do depending on the capabilities of the amp.
