i hope you guys don't touch north Korea. Destroy the market for nukes and you don't need to touch the North. Besides, the reason why North Korea's still untouched is due to the fact that the cahcnes of them really having a nuke is much lower than what CNN reports. Much MUCH lower.

Wrong. It's due to history. When we practically took over north korea china got pissed because it wanted a communist neighbor so they forced us back to the line that separates north and south korea. If we mess with no. korea we may cause china to enter war against us which is not a good thing. The only ways to destroy the market for nukes is to one take over the world or two let everyone have, which both are bad plans.

Yes, you are correct about China coming in, but no, CHina didn't push the US till the 38th Parallel, China pushed till Pusan, and the rest of the peninsular was technically a communist state for some time.

yeah, what do I know... I'm only a Korean by birth, living in korea right now, working in a Korean army base with a 4 star general, Korean ministers, getting lots of confidential info that I have no liberty to speak about(yes, I could tell you but I'd have to kill you), yadda dadda...

p.s. chances of China helping the North is slim. North has pissed off China more than enough with their scandalous free-trade zone, hiring a mainland chinese multi-billionaire to take on the project (and promptly got arrested for not getting approval to undertake such tasks) amongst other petty things that have piled up over the years.

China's got better things to do than the protect a war-torn country with more starving children than they can deal with whilst the officers live it up and make empty threats to the most powerful nation in the world. No, China is not stupid.

Don't make false statements like this. The U.S. doesn't rule So amer. Africa Asia or Europe. After all they all have their own countries. North Korea has a nuclear plant that can be used to make nukes. So their ability to create one is enough of a danger, especially with how agressive they are in their talks about it.

ok, here's the thing... most americans only hear about their nation being powerful and all, but none of you can really feel it if you're IN the country itself.

Now, as a non-american citizen, i still stand on my opinion about the fact that the US of A DOES rule the world.

Which single market in the world can drop just half a point and see the whole world market shake in fear(except for China and maybe Cuba, if indeed they do have a Havana Stock exchange)?

You guys REALLY don't know what powers you have.

Take South Korea for example. You want to know how powerful the military rep is? If North Korea were to go out on a full out assault into the south, both the american base and the ROK troops do not have the power to stop it. There are less than 50,000 soldiers here in the whole of South Korea, and arsenal in puny compared to what can be attained by the US miltary force.

SO why don't the north try anything? That's cause US army camps are in every major city, dabsmack in the middle. If a stray bullet were to have entered the compounds, it would take less than an hour from any aircraft carrier around the region (japan included) to make Pyongyang a no man's land.

I rest my case.
