Tommy always bustin bawls.5kw and a 12" in a CRX and couldn't break a 150 outlaw?
Come on now.
That's how I roll. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gifTommy always bustin bawls.
Tommy was making statement that with the equipment used...in the car it was used in, and the position of the mic. That it should of EASILY done a 50 on the floor...and possibly a 50 on the dash. Even if the gains were set and it was only getting 1500w a 150 would still be more than atainable.it wasn't the users fault the sub could'nt take near 5kw before breaking.. it probably failed at 2kw, I have a strapped pair of amps and mine didn't get to a 150 before it blew either...
but then again, I don't meter anywhere but the dash with the car closed.... what kind of numbers do you do like that?

tuned to 32 hz sure, but where did it PEAK at? That's the real question.Dave said the box was tuned to ~32hz...that would have ALOT to do w/ it not hitting 150+.
Ok, like i posted above.....Plus it is a dual 4 ...not a dual 2 so it was only at 2ohm mono...am Atomic 5000.1 does its power at 1 ohm mono...I was guessing about 2000 rms at 2ohms...plus it was tuned at 32hz....
You should still know what frequency you peaked at. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gifI was doing averages with it playing music...I wasn't running test tones
