is it possible to wire 2 amps together if mono block to act like 1 amp. like hook a 500 watt and a 1200 watt to make 1700 watts. right now i have a alpine 500 watt and was gonna get a 1200-1500 watt amp to power my next set up and was wonderign if could fuse them together.

no. If they are identical and "strappable" then yes. Two different amps are not strappable and you will start a fire.

The above is true. You cannot do what you are asking. The next amp you buy should be the size you need given the impedance load presented to it.
