2 amps?

I have a Panasonic headunit, It has 3 outputs, one for the sub, one for the front speakers, and one for the rear speakers. I have My subs hooked up to the sub preouts, would I need to get 2 amps that are two chanel, to power my speakers. Or is there an amp that is 4CH but has 2 inputs one for front and one for rear.. ( does that make sense?)

I was just wondering because why buy two when i could just get one?

There is alot of 4ch amps. most of them do only need 2ch input for all 4ch to work they all have 4ch inputs. when only using 2ch inputs you wont get any fading from front to rear.

yea most of your 4 channel amps will have 2 sets of inputs. Makes it handy also to buy a set of 4-channel rcas instead of 2 normal sets of rcas like I've seen so many do.
