2 amps twice the fun!

ok guys here is the situation........ i am going to run 2 12" flame Q's from audiobahn which are 1100 RMS. I am looking for a good way to power these subs. my firends are saying i should get two 900 RMS amps. because one huge one will be too expensive if it is name brand. what do yall think? i think two amps will drain my battery real quick so i was maybe thinking that i will have to up grade my alternator im my 99 maxima GLE. ok thanks

They are DVC 4 ohm...the A18001D is a perfect match for em...

The 12001 should be plenty (really puts out 1300ish @ 14.4 volts) and since the Flames have high eff. rating (96.4) 750Watts should be plenty! My friend just got that amp and 2 12" Flames for his Xplorer, cant wait to see it finished.

I say you stick with one amp...audiobahn has 2 amps that will match up with those subs perfectly...the a18001d and the 1500HC...and both can be found for around $400-ish.

check his signature. the writing below where he put "check sig". um go with just one amp. save u on wire and d-block. i don't have any experience with audiobahn so good luck
