2 amps to the same subs?

is it possible to put i amp to all 3 w6 vioce coils then another AAMP TO THE OTHER SIDE OF THE VIOCE BOTH AMPS WOULD BE AT 4 OHMS IS THIS POSSIBLE OR WOULD THE AMP AND SUBS BLOW UP?

Yes you can. But they'd have to be same amps and your gains would have to be set EXACTLY the same, or you could get some serious problems. I definitely wouldn't do it on a W6.

sounds like he has 3 12 w6's and wants to run 1 amp to vc "a" on all 3 and the second amp to vc "b" on all 3 --not a good idea, even with the same amps its rather risky.

nah i wanna run 3 12's v.c's at 4 ohms to one and theo other 3 voicecoils to the other amp but sumone told me id blow the subs up wanted to see if that was true

Ohhhhhhhhhhh I didn't know you had 3. Well even so, don't do it. First, youd have to have the exact same amps. And then youd have to get a line driver to increase your preout signal to 8V or so and keep your gains completely down on both amps - trying to match them up perfectly at like 1/2 way is nearly impossible.

As you can see in my sig. I have two amps pushing three DVC 12's. The amps are at 1.33ohms. It sounds awsome. You HAVE to have the same amps and the same settings. Each amp has to see the same load. In short, everything must be the same. I don't have a line driver. My gains are all the way down though. If you want them up you can use a multi-meter to match up the out put levels.
