2 amps to 1 sub

im going to run two(the same) 2ch amps to one dvc(4+4) sub. my guestion is, can i wire each amp to each coil (i.e. amp one to one set of terminals, and amp 2 to the other set) or should i run both sets of wires to one connection, and run that connection in parallel/series to the subwoofer? thanks

are the amps strappable? if so i would suggest strapping them

if not, that should work fine. bridge the two channels and run each amp on a single coil.

im not 100% on strappability, lol. but my only concern is that one amp, although the same, may be slightly more powerful.

there ws a thread on gain matching a while back. it specified how to make sure your getting the exact same power from each amp. if you dont do this the risk of frying 1 voice coil is very great. trust me i did it once.
