alright heres the deal, i've got two 1600 watt SPL audio amps running into one 15" SPL sub. now today was the first day i actually tried to put on the 2nd amp. for a while i've been running just one amp on the sub because of a lack of time to put on the 2nd one. when i had everything hooked up and ready to go, i turned it on and it would keep going back into protection. every once in a while it will hit but most of the time it's in protection. oh yeah i also have a 5 farad cap. What could be the cause of this? please help me.

sorry guys, shyne151 was right i was very vague. both amps are exactly the same model. both positive speaker wire go into the same terminal on the sub, then i have a seperate wire going to the opposite positive terminal, this is the same way with the negatives. the amps are 2 ohm stable but i cannot figure out whats going on. i was told that it was a bad ground but under the seat belts has worked great for me over the years.
