2 amps on 1 head output?

My headunit ( Kenwood KDC 128 ) only has one Left/Right output for my current amp.

( cadence powering the fronts )

I want to throw in a subwoofer and another amp, how would I go about this without getting a new head?

Would speaker out work ok? How's the sound quality compared to the rca output?

RCA splitters would allow you to connect another amp. They look like little "Y" cables. You could use the speaker outs from your head unit if your amp will take high level inputs. You could also use a Line Output Converter on the speaker out leads from the head unit to run RCAs to a second amp if it will not take line level inputs.

Don't bother with speaker level inputs or LOCs, you have RCAs. Does your Cadence amp have line level outputs? If it does you can simply run from those to the inputs of the sub amp. If not, buy a sub amp that has line level outputs and run the signal from the HU to your sub amp and then use the line outs on the sub amp to get signal to the speaker amp.

splitters would be the easiest/best solution but you may want to buy some line drivers as splitting the signal will reduce the voltage each amp is seeing the RCAs
