2 Amps in PROTECT - makes the subs beat a constant note... need help

2 of my Cadence txa 1000d's now have this exact problem, they go into protect, power and red protect light staying constant and they dont play music any longer, just as long as the cd player is on, they make the subs pump a bit of bass every second constantly until the amp is turned off. Turning the sub output off on the deck doesnt change anything.

Is there a way to resest it and take it out of protect mode or see whats gone wrong?

Are your amps grounded like this?

i have had something weird like that happen to me too. i have a kenwood headunit, sounds stupid but i've had to ground out any one of my pre-outs for audio to the chasis of the deck. try taking the bare metal of the outside of the rca joint and touch it to your headunit. sounds impossible but. . . somehow worked for me, i also have an unstoppable ground loop though the deck. i Hate my Kenwood!

if you want to reset them and get them out of protection provided there is nothing wrong internally with the amplifiers....remove the power connection from the amplifiers and jumper ground over to the pos terminal there will be a spark but the amp should fire back up out of protection provided there is nothing wrong with the amplifier....now mind you prior to doing this check and make sure you have adequate power ground and that all of your other connections and wiring is straight

so i dont think im gonna jump pos to neg lol
completley missed the point of what i was telling you to do...im going to try once more and thats it....check connections first....

remove the positive wire from the terminal then jumper ground over nothing bad will happen to the amplifier....there will be a spark do not worry. it will essentially reset everything so provided all the wiring is in order the amplifier will come out of protect and start up like normal.....and give you a chance to see what is causing it to do so
