2 amps 2 subs Need help

i am currently running 2 infinity 311a amps to 2 infinity 1030 subs. each amp is wired off the battery independantly with 8 guage wire and has its own ground. I have RCA cables from one amp to another and i spliced the remote wire from amp to amp. Each amp runs a different sub. When i unplug one of the subs the other one kicks like hell but when i plug both in at the same time it dies amd barley does anything. I have a honda civic 1996 with stock battery and alternator. Funny thing is that i donnt get much fade when they are both running. Let me know what you think. thanks
