2 Amps 1 Sub

You got email.

All you gotta do is run another set of RCA's to the 2nd amp, and make sure the AC voltage is the same coming out of both amps.

Since you said 385w @ 4 ohms, sqrt(385*4) = ~39 volts.

So you burn the tone to a CD as is, turn the volume on the HU to the max you will use, and play the tone. (make sure the sub is disconnected from each amp.

Turn the gain knob while measuring the voltage and try to get each one as close to 39v as possible (remember to have it on AC voltage)

Reconnect sub, play. Have fun.

If I do put 385w to each VC would it damage/overload the sub? The manual for it says

Power Handling (RMS/Peak) 500W/1500W

Power Range (RMS) 200W-500W

So should I cut the power to it to 250w per coil?

Doubt you would have any problems with that RMS wattage. Most people around here put 1000 watts to their R's and they handle it nicely.
