Showing a Friend the difference between...

I ran into a friend of mine I used to work with a bid ago, and he is getting back into the car audio thing. He was really excited about his new sub setup. So, we got in his explorer suv and away we went. Understanding that he is the building stage, so the rest of his system is still stock. He has two 12's Rockford p3's with a nice Rockford amp. After a good listen, I told him he desperately needs a front stage and a new head unit. The subs really didn't pound as hard as I would have thought. I did talk him into getting some Boston's. The jury was still out on a head unit and speaker amp. I said lets take a listen to my system. We took the same cd and gave it a whirl. The look on his face said it all. One 12' type R put those 2 Rockfords to shame. He couldn't believe it. I told him about all the help I have had here on the forum. Its the install baby! LOL My goal here was not to show off, it was to get him to realize what his system could be if he will take some advise. I want to help him. Unfortunatly, I have not heard from him since. I hope he will at least plug into the knowledge that this forum has to offer. Time will tell.
