Yeah I understand....But I know how a name can change a price. I here everyone here talking about RE and Type R and I have used alpine but never RE. Just wanted some opinions. Thanks

I have a friend that has a shop and he is trying to sell me 2 RE SE NIB for $200.00 OR 2 RE XXX 06 for $500.00. And 2 Type R's For $175 or 2 Type X's for $400.00 I dunno what to do lol.

the se are cheaper then i can get them at. but in the long run it is all up to you.

best i could say is have a listen and see what you like the most.

yea, direct SE's used to be 185 each for 12s, the XXX's used to be 650ish direct

i would go for the SE's or type X;s

There is no way in hell you can get TWO 06 XXX's for $500. Maybe the 05 and prior model, but the 06's are more than $500 PER UNIT...

If you are willing to spend that much money, I deffinitly wouldnt settle on Type R's.
