If you can fit it, I'd do 5ft^3 with a 35hz tuning and about 75in^2 of port.

go smaller on the box volume 4 cubes and like 80-90^2 of port

My trunk is 41.25w x14h x27.25d = 7.4 ft^3 before any displacements.

The only problem is that the back seats cut off about 2.5" on each side. With the seats folded down. So I was thinking a center port, and squeezing the port with the sub's.

I'm hoping to get some where a round +147's. Since with my last setup I was doing low 146's, at the head rest. With 2- 3512e's and a DD Z1. I did not get to miss around a lot before I sold the amp. I had that box at 5ft^3 and 80ft^2 of port. tuned at 39hz

So if I was to do a aero port just do 1 8", In a 4.5 3ft^3 box? This would give me (50"ft^2) 11.11 ft^2 of port per ft^3. Is this on the low side of aeros? Or should I use two 6" , that would give me 56"ft^2? I have never used aeros but would not mind it. The side port will not work for me, I hate trunk rattles with a passion. It would drive me crazy.

after the 5.5" step (for the frame rails) it can go the full size.. If you need a little more room I'm sure I can find it but it will be tight.

Beastly. Come to think of it, you might want to add a second baffle or put a 1.5" wide MDF ring behind the sub cutouts(make the ring then cut it in half to fit inside the box) so that you have two layers for the screws to bite into.
