2 4ohm subs wired to mono amp 2ohm load

IIRC, the amp is rated at 800WRMS x 1 @ a 2 ohm load? Correct? You can get some Hifonics HF12S4's, they're rated at 350WRMS, but with the gain properly set, the can handle 400WRMS. They're pretty cheap too, I think they're about $100 shipped for the pair, if you can find them on eBay. Sonicelectronix.com should have them pretty cheap too.

so what exactly is wrong with my set up......why is it not compatible
Your subs are dual 4 ohm speakers. Meaning, they have 2 4ohm voice coils (think of it as 2 4ohm subs) You put both of them coils together, you can get either a 2 ohm or 8 ohm load. Since you have 4 4ohm coils, you can get either a 1 ohm, 4 ohm, or 16 ohm load. Since the amp is rated at 4-500WRMS at 4 ohms, so each sub would only be getting 200-250WRMS each. The amp is not one ohm stable, so that wouldn't work. And at a 16ohm load, you could barely hear the speakers.

I'm looking for a decent amp right now.
