ur options are either 1ohm or 4ohm, since that amp is not 1ohm stable i'd say either do 4ohm or get a new amp. Or perhaps new subs. But TBH, ur whole sub setup is not looking too promising
Wow....that sucks......would a different amp that is 1ohm stable help the cause??? Or do i just need to start over.......My bugdet was 300 dollars for some subs and an amp.....I take it I went the wrong way with it........
Those MA amps are great budget amps, the only part that isn't lookin' too well is the Power Acoustik's, but even then, they're decent budget subs. I would recommend a TXi1006D, it would pair with them subs good. You'd either have to sell the amp or the subs, 'cause there's no way you're going to get them to be compatible.
You can occasionally find them on eBay, and that's about the only place I would buy them from. Online retailers sale them for $250+, and they're not worth that much. There's a LA S2.1000.1 on here for $150 shipped, which would be better than the Hifonics, most likely.
