people dont buy sundown 3000ds for $1000 FYI. And some with certain cosmetics go for $500 yes. take away the difference and my price is still a better deal. so i dont get what you getting at???

just face if either u come down on the price or no one is going to buy them people sale their sundown 3000saz for 500 when they bought it for 1000
Basically he's stating that a sundown SAZ3000 is a much better and reliable amp for the money. Also buying a sundown you don't have to worry about getting knock off alibaba.com maxxsonic equipment. I can buy those colosuss amps for probably about 140usd per piece if I wanted to buy 10+, but they would all be knockoffs, and just about all mass produced brands like maxxsonic has knockoffs out there. Also, there is more to an amp being "Mint" than just cosmetics. Most enthusiest don't care about winning a beauty contest with there amps, they want true power, and reliability, neither of what you get from a hifonics amp like you do a sundown, and I can gaurantee you people pay 1000+ for their sundowns new, and you can get them used for $5-600, reason being, a sundown amp may have had 2-4 previous owners and still be a reliable amp, but I just looked at a sundown dealer price sheet, and the 3000d does sell for 1000+, dealer is $700, I'm not going to tell you dealer on that colosuss. Also, you're telling the world that you're running a 2 ohm stable amp at 1.4 ohms bridged, and just by the looks of the install pics I can tell those amps are being pushed to their limits, all of which depreciates their value. I understand you say you have this big battery bank, but that's not proven, for all we know those amps are cosmetically mint, but may be mechanically "fair" Plus they're maxxsonics, which don't have a high used value, like a sundown or other brands like them. And yes I know a lot of those higher end brands amps have maxxsonic boards in them, but black and decker makes dewalt, but does that mean a black and decker drill is just as good, hell no.

get out of this man's thread if you're just going to talk crap about amps you don't even know about. This is a great price for good amps. I'm not at all a maxxsonics fan but the hifonics line has been proven to do rated power and is still a reliable product. He's asking $370 per amp, tell me how often you see a saz-3000 for that price. Both you guys comparing these amps to a sundown has no relevance here at all.

Maxxsonics amps don't all do rated power, if you think that, then so be it. Also, no one is comparing the amp to a sundown or any amp of the sort, but comparing the asking price to what you can get a used sundown for. I'm not talking down on the colossus, I'm just clearing up why some people may not want to but a used hifonics amp at that price, because they aren't as reliable as some of the other used amps you can get for $50-100 more

Im aware of the comparison and I have several competitors from my area who compete in mwspl that can verify my battery bank while they were used.

As well as this picture which is dated the same as the ORIGINAL PIC for this thread when I took the picture of the amplifiers

As far as doing rated power YOU are not in authoroty to say if they do or not. You obviously have never clamped one nor have experience with these amplifiers. You also are not a person to say of they were pushed to any limits as you never saw the install.

Also what you can buy KNOCKOFF amps for is your business. these amps were purchased directly from maxxsonics. I am aware of dealer pricing as well as team pricing , you can guess which one I paid.

Obviously you are comparing sundown amps to these amplifiers as its what you are stating. And regardless in that aspect, $1000 for 2 3000ds or $740 for 2 colossus amps ( 3200 each).....I don't see how i need to mark down the price even more.

First off the sundown amps work at higher voltages, lower loads, and aren't 2 channel amplifiers. The comparison is irrelevant. I have been in this scene for almost 10 years now and always see hifonics and for a while crunch amps at many shows and finals.

This is a for sale thread. If you don't wish to ask questions about the product or offer a price, please stay out of it.

Thanks.

You know what, GLWS, and I know more than you could imagine about that amp. Those current model Hifonics amps, the brutus, colossus, zues's, have a lot of send backs, they weren't their best ones, I was only saying I understand peoples concern, and I sold an xxv last month in my store for 275 and it was in excellent condition, which is a much better amp than the current one. Most gurus that want true 6000+ watts don't look to maxxsonic amps, they just dont, there's a reason why their 3000+ watts amp sells new for $500, so why do you think people should think $125 savings is a good deal for a used one. Try ebay, you might sell them there a lot quicker, but just look through the posts and see the stuff that sells on here, and what doesn't at what prices. I was just saying a point of view, I wasn't taking a shot at you, so don't take them at me, but I'm done with this thread, groan me all you want, it doesn't matter. since you think I'm in no position to speak on that amp, if it breaks, PM me, and I'll have you ship it to my company and we'll fix it for you, you have no idea what I know

What is the best amplifier for subwoofer from your opinion?

As far as I know, HIFONICS also produce good amplifiers.

Your right. I don't know you nor do you know myself or what I what tests with the newer line hifonics amps.

I have ran the newer brz 2100.1 amplifiers at .35 ohm each ( running 2 amplifiers) and have a in friend in California running 4 of them at .25 ohm per amplifier with no issues. These amplifiers are very reliable and affordable for theor place on the market. I dont see how you can't see that the minor use of these amplifiers justifys the price difference of a new one. $155 is $155. It's the same as people selling other brands and marking them down by $100 because they are BARELY USED.

And also the xxv line wasn't a better line in regards to hifonics. Many goliath and sampson amplifiers shared the same driver card issue in that line. I'm aware of quite a few that actually blew from proper use due to the issues in that line. There's info on it all over the place even on this forum

And your right there is a reason this amp costs $520 new.

Also, many competitors got rid of their xxv amplifiers and started using the crunch gp3000d pros due to the reliability, but I'm sure you would say those were junk too.

1.) Cannot run at high voltages

2.) Cannot run at very low ohm loads.

3.) Is not a zenon board

4.) Made in China

5.) Not bullet proof.

6) no preorder offered

I have had many amps in my years ranging from atomic, DD, stetsom, OLD US Amps, IA, Soundstream, Crunch ( mean machine 3000d) and of course hifonics. I have stated differences in the amplifiers in the above listing that affects the price point. I hope you can soon see the differences as well. I have talked to mike at maxx. about them and received the product I paid for.

I hope to never know you, and request you leave my thread.

Thanks

These are great amps for the $$$. If you dont agree, dont post on here, dont make an offer, just go **** yourself. I have seen and heard these amps in person. They do what they claim to do. Its crazy how many people hate on eachother on this forum. This **** is why people are leaving this site.
