(2) 18 inch FI's in a Jeep Cherokee+More: BUILD

Allright so , been awhile since Ive been at this because I was a bit sick the last 2 weeks .. I was able to work on a few things such as the bracing in the roof and fixed the rear doors recently .. O and thanks to Path2spl I was able to get on the TL and put up some #'s ... It did a 149.2 at 35 hz , 147.1 at 30hz , 148.7 on music . Driver side window down . Everything else sealed up. It seems the truck is peaking right around 35-36 which is exactly what I was shooting for .With a second AQ2200 hopefully I see a tiny bit closer to 150 in low 30's. Vids are on the way:cool:. Uploading FTL
Wait. So you just did a 149.2 @ 35hz off 2200 watts?!??! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif:confused://content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif

Thats not asking too much imo.....my single 18" BTL with ~1700 actual rms did a 147.3 @ 33hz with the driver side window down.

Sealed up would knock it down quite a bit.

I could see him doing 50's on music with the added power and some tweaking.

Yea as of right now the amp is not all the way up . Roughly 80% on the gain. With about 20 minute of testing and burping yesterday the subs were no where close to warm at all , same with the amp .

Yea im hoping to crack 150-151 after a few things . I mean im tuned right around 29 hz to be exact but Jeeps cabins tend to peak around 40-45 so yea. Im curious on what it would do if I tuned to 35ish.. I have to tweak some things like you said becuase im still having issues with some things such as the HU preouts. So the HU may be coming out soon .. But good score as for your setup. Car or truck ?

WTF dude, that thing is moving mass amounts of air! My two SPL setups were doing mid 150's and never moved air like that.

I can't remember for the life of me what my tunning was, so that I am sure has something to do with it. I believe I was tuned high.

Looks sick though and glad to hear you get it back up and running.

Car, but the enclosure was in the back seat.

lol thanks man ,Yea the low tuning definitly plays a part in the amount of air that is displaced.. My previous setup did basically the same #s but was tuned to 38, In which it didnt move nearly as much air . Box was built just as good as this setup . Thanks for the comments

Thats a darn good score considering the tuning of the box . thats sick .how much did the sono-tubes cost?
Thanks man.!... The tube cost right around $10 for a 48 inch long tube . Not bad considering that I was about to spend over $200 on aeroports //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eek.gif.771b7a90cf45cabdc554ff1121c21c4a.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif

Giving you have the same port area it would basically be the same . I went with the tubes to save a little bit of volume while still being able to achieve 158 inches of port area .. And i guess to be a little different lol.

Wow awesome job Miller, that looks loud as hell.

Makes me wanna get a jeep even more now //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
