Wow very nice work.I likt the shot inside of the pod.Whats the clay for?

nice setup! looks hella loud! do you have the box just sitting in there or do you have it secured? i'm trying to figure out how i'm gonna secure my box...slides around everywhere...
ive seen his truck in person.the box sits very tight up in between the wheel wells. It being held by half inch thick bolts iirc through each wheel well right into the box.

Thanks man:cool:.. And as Litunerkid said its secured using 1/2 inch hardened steel bolts with big washers. I was able to do this because the box is wedged in between the rear wheel wells so there was no gap between the box and wells making it easy to send a bolt through from the outside. After I did this I sprayed inside of the rear wheel wells with undercoat so you dont see any bolts or so on. Looks factory

Appreciate the comments. The clay is to reduce resonance in the pods and add more overall mass.

Allright geez, Been all caught up over here with a few box builds and installs for some local's. Time to get things back rolling..

5 pounds of clay in each pod..

I Have decided to cover the pods with grey carpet to match the trucks carpet. I didn't feel like working with vinyl this time around //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif .

Thanks alot man^^ As for how they sound.... I've always enjoyed the Pioneer D series as a single set in deadening doors and so on but in all honesty putting these comps in in sealed pods was probably the most suprising upgrade to an already outstanding component. The guitar plucks and drum snairs are very precise and have much more impact with the vocals being the most satisfying. I have them hooked up so I'm able to choose which set I want playing at any given time. As of right now the (2) front sets are running as the 3rd is played while demo'ing with the doors open. I will be experimenting within the next week trying to seal off each mid in the pods to see if there is any acoustical differences without having the common chamber. Each mid is seeing roughly 100 per side crossed at 63hz/6db slope.

wow amazing work brah, i am actually getting rid of my sounds, cops wanted to impound my shit, and i wasnt even at full volume, like 1/2 way. its not worth it, maybe ill come back with something more extreme in the future. right now i want to focus on auto-xing.

Appreciate the comments:cool:. I'm still thinking of buying the fabric thats on the seats and wrapping them in that. Just not sure about the contrasting between the two colors. It's the same carpet thats covering my box. And no bueno with those cops. Although I will say auto x is where its at lol. Wish there were tracks on Li. Still post up over on CRSX ?
