2 15s

one monster 15 in a high output box might get lower/louder than your 18 in a small box. Box efficiency > cone area
So what do you think I should do then? I am trying to keep that box or I can trade it for another box custom built since someone wants this one. I could do 2 of the daytons.

If you are going for lows, I'd put a woofer in there that would make full use of the airspace rather than a woofer barely getting enough airspace. Get something efficient too, the ZVX subs and most megarolls arent that efficient with power especially if you are going to just run it on a shark amp, you will need an extra efficient enclosure.

I had 2 15" in 5.5 with an 8" sono tube on 2200w. Sounded good (or so I thought). I realized I had a leak and the box was starting to get ugly so I rebuilt it. Now it's 11 cubes (I know you can't squeeze that on yours) on 1750w with 2 8" sono tube, and its at least twice as loud and hits the lows with athority. With that space I would do 2 monster 12"s on 2500-3Kw. That's what I would do if I went back to a 5.5 box.

I realize that it might be small for the enclsoure, but I don't know different if it would be gasping for air or not so idon't know right now.

I don't think I am going for lows that much compared to what you guys think of as lows so I don't know again //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

Since i've "been there, done that" with 2 15" in 5.5 I'm saying that me personally I would'nt do it again. That's just my opinion. Just wasn't enough room, and hearing what those 2 same 15"s sound like in the 11 cubes with less power compaired to the 5.5 cube, I can tell you that they were struggling/gasping/etc.

I gotcha. I might just keep my equipment and get a true amp and HO alternator or just keep what I have. Maybe like a taramps 3k or something along those lines.

Do you want the vehicle to shake/flex/hairtrick with ear fking bass? Or do you want people to get fked up/choked up/lung crushed/visions blurred

I like how it shakes and I don't like high frequency bass. Heard a 40 hz and it was bad. I rather hair tricks.

So you tink upgrade electrical and power first?
