I have a box that is for my skar zvx 18 at 32 hz and 5.5 net after displacement and port. 8 inch port, I think about 15.5 or 16 inches deep. (If tuning is wrong, my bad) but I was wondering - along with @blazian87, do you guys think 2 15's could fit in that box and just redo the baffle? That is pretty much my max dimensions so I can't do much to prevent that. But I was thinking 2 Dayton HO 15's or 2 Obsidian Audio V1 15's I can get for 200 a pair?

Let me know what you guys think! Any sub for small enclosures is encouraged!

2 12s or 4 10s. Not 2 15s. Maybe 1 15
Because I mean, the 2 15s is the really only cone area upgrade I can do with the space provided. 4 10s would cost too much money on my part until I find some for dirt cheap.

Yeah for a 15 id go MINIMAL 3.75 cubes per sub..... youd be @ 2.75 theyll be gasping for air xD Just a suggestion like above why not 2 12's or 1 15 at 5 cubes. theres so many variables bro and to a point theres truth but its all vehicle specific and more or less he said she said go with what you believe will sound good. Life is based on mistakes !!

I can only fit 5.5 cubes on my 18 right now with port displacement and woofer displacement and wood.

To be honest, you are doing everything wrong if you think cone area is the answer to getting louder while having to regards to proper enclosure specs. If anything you'll lose a ton of output compared to what you have right now if you tried the two 15s. You might gain more with 4 10s which I think will be your loudest option.

Yeah, I just looked up some specs and came to the that conclusion. What 10s do you guys think? Still thinking about daytons but again, open to opens. Low price as always //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

you want low end monsters or something good with normal music and gets loud?

Seeing you have a 1500 watt amp which probably does overrated but you are on a 80 amp alternator so that putts you at 1500/4 = 375 watts per sub on a good day so not saying Jeffdachef is wrong for saying 4 10's hes way more knowledgeable than me but in your situation maybe its not optimal to run 4 you could run 3 though and feed them all better power. Just my .02 listen to what everyone has to say alot of helpful people on here

Shark 3500 whihc probably does around 2700 at 1 amp before rise.

After rise man, you could be ending up at 2-4 ohms unless you plan on wiring extremely low. Ever thought about trying a DSS Ethos 18? they only need 5 cubic feet net but a lot of port area, so replace the port with a bigger and longer one.

I don't feel safe going below 1 on this amp, and I mean, changing subs won't change THAT much output for the money.
