couldnt find anything about 1ohm when strapping the two Directeds, only 2 ohms. has anyone tried 1ohm and how much power can it put out? thanks!

pretty sure the vipers are only stable down to 2 ohms. even strapped. since viper amps aren't produced anymore, i wouldn't take a chance on frying it for a lil power gain if i were you.

what more do you want 2 directed 1500ds strapped will give you 2200 watts pure power @2ohms what subs are you using

If you are looking to strap them, you might as well get the 2500D, 2500w @ 2 ohms.

ORION amps can go down to 1 ohm and in some instances .5.

i ASSUMED orion (as would almost anyone else).

you didn't SPECIFY which one (since both were made by directed/dei anyways).

my sub is an HD312 and its a D2 config. what about running each 1500d to its coil? isnt there a directed 2400? anyone know the specs on that? i need a decent amp to put around 1800
