2 15" RE SE, 2Cuft^3 per chamber, Orion 1200D.

Alright, Pics uploading. I let it cure over night after soaking the T shirt in fiberglass. Now i need to do the inside seam's, Where the "base" met the t shirt. I understand i do that on the inside, However i need to strengthen the whole thing up. So do i go back to matting the outside of the pod, Or do i do the inside?

Also, Grinding where the base met the T shirt's gonna be fun, since all i got is 100 grit, and a palm sander.

love those amps, I have the 1200d and the 3002 myself.
Are they installed? Id like to see it.

Thx Derrick. And yes i have built it. 2cuft per chamber sealed. Ill probably be glassing up the inside in the next few days just to make sure.

Ordered a set of ID OEM's for "Rear fill". They will be mounted in the arm rest recess in the back seat, And wired with my CTX65cs's to see a 2 ohm load on the Orion 4002.

I think its about time for an update. Havent been doing much since its been snowing, and life problem's, But i have been able to get a little bit done.

3 more layers of glass on the Driver's kick [First one i made.], And i used the backside of the Drivers side panel i had to make the Passenger side "Base". I then attempted to measure the dowles, And get the placment on both the ring and base about the same to give it the same contour's, Ect. But when i went to stretch the Tshirt material, Some of them were a bit off. So ill get to that tonight, And get them glassed up soon. I bet my imagings gonna be off a bit, since i dont have my car at the same house im working at. oh well, Atleast ill have them in the car where i can hear them, As well as have some experience with fiberglass.

Right is driver, Left is pass [You can see in this picture, my front dowel on the pass kick isnt tall enough.]

Still need to order some 1/0 and get it all ran.

And im pondering adding a stand alone EQ (probably 5-6 band parametic), Or ditching the indash for a CDA-9885/86/87 as i miss my 9885. Then ill have to get a stand alone DVD player for the roof mount.

Thanks, I tried to get the best for my money this time around. Hopfully i dont get bored of it too quickly. Altho im already having dreams of 6 8's, or a single 18.

I got my other kicks ring repositioned and material stretched over it. They look pretty much identical right now, Except where the seams landed but that wont matter. Ill get it glassed up sometime tomarrow, Then next week ill try to get a dotco or grinder so i can start the sanding stage.

Im also gonna attempt to get my car over here so i can play with tweeter location's, as well as find somewhere to glass my Volt meter. Im thinking A pillar, but this aint no rice burner.

While the steelers were taking the championship, I was in the garage glassin away.

No photos of the corrected "frame", But its almost identicle.

Green boxes are just areas i wanted to build out a little more with fiberglass vrs. bondo.

Time to buy an angle grinder or a 4" grinder to trim it a bit before i start to cover it with filler. Also need atleast 2 more layers of mat on the passenger side pod.

Thanks! Im gonna try my hardest to make a trip to Harbor frieght to pick up a 4" grinder tomarrow, As well as some Bondo / Filler.

I got the hole cut for the mid, As well as cleaned up the "mating surface" as much as i could with a pair of Dikes and a Razor blade. Still gotta clean it up a bit to get the mid's to sit right tho. Here's a few pic's of the "Progress"
