2 15" RE SE, 2Cuft^3 per chamber, Orion 1200D.

Well, Got a LITTLE bit of work done.

Ampracksub1.jpg
How it will sit [Except it'll be counter sunk, and have a 1/4" gap all the way around it.]

Ampracksub2.jpg
How it'll look counter sunk. I may have to get some 1/4" spacers to get it to sit right. Who knows, Maybe one day ill get bored enough to back light it with some LED's.

Showing the 1/4" outline. [should i try the "steps" thing, Or round it off on the ends? I think it look cleaner rounded off.]

MMMM, eyeCandy

Im having so much fun playing with it, taking pictures, Im not sure if i want to even install it.

Im also thinking of holding off on my "Rear fill" for now, And going with a Cadence EQ600, since my indash lacks good pre-out's, and a EQ.

Thanks! Im Excited, and cant wait for the day i get to start installing it all.
I know the feeling.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

So are you gonna leave the subs inverted?

Sure does look nice!

Nope, subs have a 8"+ mounting depth, I got 5-6" to play with. Only reason i have them mounted inverted right now is to show them off in my room, And so the kids dont mess with the cones. I keep a pair of sock in the Magnet holes so nothing gets dropped in there neither.

I sure hope it comes out nice.

I dont remember if it was here that someone was asking about box coverage. YES, When i finish my whole trunk build, I will Carpet / Fill, sand, Paint. This build should look pretty decent in the end. Not the best, But good enough for my 2nd build [First which got interupted, And never finished.], As well as an Improvment over the last.

Thanks for the Comment's!

I gotta figure out what to do with my False floor. My box has 1/2" from bottom of box, To bottom edge of speaker. My old false floor is 3/4" and can be reused. I dont know if i should notch out around the subs trim rings, Or scrap it, and buy a half sheet of 1/2" MDF.

What kind of bolts should i use for my Speaker terminals?

I did put the cap in...

Another persons vehicle. I tried and tried and tried to talk him out of it, But hey he traded me a set of 15' RF RCA's for it so what was i to do?

Updates.. updates... lets see here..

Finally got around to getting Crimp rings, and bolts for my terminal's.

From there, it will go to the bolts on the "Seperation" board, Then branch off to the two coils of each sub. [i decided to go this way, to keep all wires to the speakers same length.]

Oh, Oh.. And i feel ive made a bit of progress on my door pod's.

Got away with not TOO many creases. There is one part where the dowel sticks out a bit =[ Overall not bad for my first pod!

Also, I decided not to cut into the door / Panel to keep it as factory as possible, As well as the window motor being right behind my mid.

Still searching for a tweeter location, Thinking A piller aimed at eachother, or oposite passenger.

still lookin for some cheap 1/0 [i think i got my last wire TOO cheap, there for dont wanna pay anymore //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif ], Was thinking about running the 4ga kit i have already to my 1200D untill i get the CTX65CS's in, But uhmm looks like thats happening rather quickly.
