2 15" 9500 enclosure (sketchup inside)

mtx says 2.25 cubes each with a 2" wide port for a ported box. seems small for a 15". i messed around with bbp6 and came up with this design. 3.5 cf each after all displacments. tuned around 32hz. the port is 18.5" wide x 2" tall x 24" deep. angled piece of mdf on the back bottom wall of each chamber.

low deep bass is what im shooting for. whatcha think?

around 1000 watts rms to each sub by 2 mtx amps

going into a denali sitting on 26" giovanni rims. ballin

Yeah I ran a couple of different setups when I ran MTX 9515's... One I went with the 2.25 cubes ported each with 1000 watts a sub...

The other setup i went with close to 4 cubes per sub and the ports could fit 24 packs of beer down them. I sent those a 1501d each and it sounded much better than the 2.25 rec. from MTX (I actually got the specs to build the box from some MTX tech when I called them asking about it).

anyone that can drop 10 grand on rims alone is balling. even if they have one 10"4 15s or 4 18s is called "groundpounder"
i disagree..if i have $10,001 in the bank and i spend 10k on rims...im definitly not ballin. yet i could still have those rims. if i have a 1979 amc pacer and put 10k rims on it..thats not ballin. if i have a 2008 denali on 10k 26"s with a plywood box in the back holding 4 12"s..thats not ballin. complete package homie

Could not tell you, but you may want to start by going to crutchfield and get a consensus on the 7 or so replacements they recommend. That average...

You could try to make the port longer, but there might be other reasons with the box won't extend lower, or even the sub. You'd have to reverse...

i didn’t get to hear it yet. He’s supposed to install it this weekend.
